How do you place an order?
Once your system is set-up and you've positioned your unique QR Codes or NFC Chips along your bar/on all your tables (nowhere near as complex as it might sound), your menu is ready to be accessed. Your customers can then scan one of your QR Codes or tap one of your NFC Chips with their phone, and in the space of seconds, they'll be on your menu. From there, they'll be able to see all your items and add what they want to their virtual basket; similarly to online shopping. When they're ready to pay, they can navigate to their basket, enter their details, and pay with their preferred payment method. The rest it down to you!
What's a QR Code/NFC Chip?
- A QR Code is a barcode that holds all sorts of information, or in this instance, the web address for your online menu. The majority of phones today can scan them with their built-in camera app and many people are already familiar with them/how to use them. An NFC Chip is similar to a QR Code in the way that it holds information, but instead of needing to be scanned by a camera, you can tap a modern phone against it so it can receive a no-battery-needed wireless message, like the web address for your online menu.
How do I receive my orders?
All your orders - past and present - can be seen in the Orders section of our online platform; the same one you use to customise and make changes to your menu and Queue Pay account when you get set-up. Just log-in through the Queue Pay website and you'll find it on the Navigation Menu. Once you're there, you can see all the information you need to fulfil your orders including tables numbers, names and of course the items your customers have ordered. The platform is currently viewable on laptops and tablets only.
Expanding the Network
- We recommend that larger venues with lots of staff position multiple devices running the Queue Pay Platform around the venue in the places most convenient, just to ensure everyone is kept up to speed.
